ESquared

Cooking Class (and Chocolate-Making Class) for Valentine's Day Weekend

Here’s the

Plan

At BLT Prime, whip up:

• Fluke carpaccio

• Chateaubriand

• Marble heirloom potatoes

• Creamed spinach

• Red velvet cake

At Casa Nonna, get sweet on:

• Valentine’s Day chocolates made from scratch (by you)

• Prosecco

• Hors d’oeuvres

Great. Dinner and chocolates. Again.

Before you morph into Debbie Downer, consider this: You’ll be dining at BLT Prime and sampling chocolates at Casa Nonna. And you’ll make everything you eat from scratch.

The food love-fest starts the weekend before V-Day, when BLT Prime and Casa Nonna transform into culinary learning labs. On Feb. 11, take your main squeeze to BLT Prime for an exclusive, Valentine’s Day-themed cooking class with BLT Prime Executive Chef Andrew Matthews. You’ll master dishes like chateaubriand with bearnaise sauce, creamed spinach with garlic, and rose petal-infused red velvet cake. For lunch, you’ll eat what you create, and pair two of the dishes with select European wines.

If sweets are more your speed, cozy up to Casa Nonna on Feb. 12 for a two-hour chocolate-making course with ESquared Hospitality Executive Pastry Chef Julie Elkind. Sip prosecco and nibble hors d’oeuvres as you harness the power of Valrhona cacao (think handmade bonbons, truffles, and dipped fruit).

We call it thinking outside the chocolate box.
