Run by three highly educated women with a shared passion for child care, the service pairs families with professional sitters who spend quality, activity-filled time with your children. So while you’re away, your child won’t just be looked after — she’ll also get help with homework, be transported to after-school activities, and play games that spark her imagination. SmartSitters are carefully vetted through extensive interviews and background checks, so you can rest assured your match is qualified, reliable, and on the ball.
With sitter services that fit your lifestyle, you can schedule some “you” time. Free up nights with a two-month membership to The Evening Club, which guarantees sitter bookings that keep kids occupied until bedtime (think interactive story time and homework-based games). Need even more flexibility? Opt for four- or eight-hour sitter sessions instead. As part of the service, SmartSitting directors will speak with you one-on-one to gauge your schedule. In-home consultations are also available for long-term clients.

Two-Month Membership to The Evening Club
Includes three evening babysitter bookings a month for two months. Babysitter rates range from $15-$25 per hour, and are charged separately.
Four Hours of Babysitting, Personal Consultation, and Complimentary Booking Services
Includes four hours of babysitting services. You’ll also get a personal consultation and complimentary booking service with a SmartSitting director as part of the package.
Nanny for a Day, Personal Consultation, and Booking Services
Includes eight hours of babysitting, a personal consultation, and complimentary booking service with a SmartSitting director.

The Next Steps
• Fill out a family application form online and include your voucher code in the “How did you find out about us?” section. Or, you can email your voucher code to SmartSitting and a representative will contact you to set up your appointments. For offers two and three, be sure to book your sitter at least 48 hours in advance.

The Fine Print
• Must be redeemed by Aug. 10, 2012.
• New clients only.
• Cannot be combined with any other offer.
• Entire voucher must be redeemed by one person in a single visit.
• Good in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Astoria only.
• For offer one, Evening Club bookings start at 6 p.m. and have a three-hour booking minimum; membership must be redeemed in two consecutive months.
• For offers two and three, additional hours may be purchased at the rate of $20 per hour, and can be paid directly to the sitter.
• Extra fees may apply for special requests, travel after 10 p.m., and holidays.
• Bookings made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $10 fee and are nonrefundable.
• 24-hour cancellation policy enforced; cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a minimum three-hour booking fee (equal to three times the SmartSitter’s hourly rate).
• Rates are not included in the Evening Club offer. Rates range from $15-$25 per hour, and should be paid directly to the sitter.
• Limit one Deal per person; one additional voucher may be purchased as a gift.
• Gratuity not included. DailyCandy suggests tipping on the prediscount amount. It’s the nice thing to do.
