Do you have a nickname?
Yassi. It rhymes with sassy.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A lawyer or a social worker specializing in troubled kids.
Three things on your desk or in your bag right now?
I don’t have a desk or a bag. Owning a studio makes it easy.
Like coffee and French kisses, a good workout shouldn’t invoke anything lukewarm. Heat up your routine — to, say, 105 degrees — in challenging classes at Bikram Yoga Richardson.
Within a massive studio built just for Bikram practice, certified instructors guide tenderfoots and experienced yogis alike through a series of postures designed to strengthen and heal the whole body.
Classes are offered throughout the day, so you can sweat out the not-so-small stuff like toxins and stress before your early-morning conference call or after happy hour. (Note: Plenty of water, not martinis, is recommended. Hydrate prior to class).
And remember: If you can’t stand the heat, try to remain in the room. After ten classes, you’ll be totally hot for yoga.
